About Casey

1112121_1112121_1112121-R6080-028-12A_24587onlineHello, I’m Casey!  This is my home for all things yoga for adults and kids, dance, choreography and the occasional bragging grounds for my own little bundle of joy.

My love of movement began with dance classes and in 1996 I began choreographing for musical theatre productions and dance companies.  While my background is in contemporary ballet, I have explored many different styles of movement and am still discovering more to learn!  Yoga found me after an injury and having practiced for years on my own I thought, why not combine my love of movement, kids and my overactive imagination, which brought about Yogimagination.

I public yoga and ballet classes in Los Angeles, meet privately with clients and always have my eyes open for a fun choreography project.  I hold a B.A. in Theatre, am an E-RYT 200 Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, am currently working on my Prenatal Yoga Certification and have been honored for my choreographic creations with multiple awards and nominations.

Starting in 2017, I will be offering multiple online teacher training modules that meet the Yoga Alliance standard for continuing education as non-contact hours.  These classes will focus on children’s yoga and feature sections on child development, anatomy & physiology and child appropriate poses.  If you are interested in hosting an in-studio training (that counts towards contact hours) I would love to talk with you.  Stay tuned for more info!
